I've been pretty absent from on here, and I wish I had a better excuse... but honestly, it's because I've been making books my whole personality lately 😂👀

went to a shrek rave to dress up and have fun with friends while promoting a book I'm narrating. Went to a bookish speakeasy. Went to an ACOTAR themed masquerade ball.... the list goes on 😅

So grateful to have met a group of people I can laugh and be dumb with, while talking about and celebrating all our favorite books 🙌🏼🤍

super late post, but... better late than never right? 😅 June was such a whirlwind. our tiny dude turned 2, my parents came to visit- which was incredible- AND we went to book bonanza.

it was our first big book convention ever, and the icing on the cake was being able to see some of my long distance book besties. it was all such a dream, and I'm honestly still pinching myself that I got to meet some of my favorite authors 🤍

Oh also, now I aspire to be an audiobook narrator... so that's new and fun. I loved chatting with the narrators at BB, and thinking back, getting "voice acting" as one of my top matched careers on my high school career assessment test is all making sense now 😂🙌🏼

our sweet Riley bug is TWO today 😭🥹🤍

I can't believe how fast time has flown. There's something about watching your last baby grow that's so bittersweet. I absolutely love watching him evolve into a spunky, silly, smart, funny toddler and come into his personality more and more each day.

But... damn. It is so weird to realize we're out of the "babyhood" phase of life forever. It feels like time is slipping through my fingers like grains of sand and I'm chaotically trying to grapple at the tiny pieces, while also enjoying the little moments as they come. it's sad and overwhelming and hard and happy and joyous all at once. Motherhood is a weird thing.

Two years we've spent loving on our little dude, two years of belly giggles and ear to ear grins, and so much happiness and love. Riley is such a blessing to all of our lives, and I feel so lucky to be his mama 🤍 happy birthday, sweet boy.

not that there's anything wrong with beige, lol. but for me... i can admit that I used to go with the trends- walk into tj Maxx and buy things just because I thought I should and not because I genuinely liked them, and just in general not really put much personality behind my home.

A few years ago, everything shifted and I went down a whole rabbit hole of finding a home style that I loved. I've learned along the way that I love color so much and that bright happy colors around my house makes me feel so much more at home 🙌🏼
